Thrivent Night at the Ballpark to Benefit Special Olympics


Cedar Rapids, IA – June 5, 2018 – The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department invites the public to support the local Special Olympics program and cheer for the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Tuesday, June 26. Thrivent Financial has bought Veterans Memorial Park, 950 Rockford Road SW, for the evening and all ticket sales will support the Cedar Rapids Special Olympics program. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.The game begins at 6:35 p.m.

Tickets are only $8 each and are available at Northwest Recreation Center or the Parks & Recreation Department at City Services Center. Call Rob Wagner, Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Special Populations Program Supervisor, for more information at 319-286-5799.
